Who runs this store
HealingChoice Hope is owned and operated by HealingChoice Family Therapy, PLLC, a private mental health group practice in Texas. It is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or a charity.
Where your money goes
100% of the net proceeds from products sold on this site are placed in The Hope Fund, an internal sliding-scale financial aid program managed by HealingChoice Family Therapy, PLLC.
The Hope Fund is used only to help pay for professional mental health counseling at HealingChoice Family Therapy, PLLC for new and existing clients who are:
- Ordained or licensed clergy, and their immediate family members (spouses and dependent children)
- Facing forced termination, sudden job loss, or ministerial crisis
- Able to show financial need
The Hope Fund is open to eligible clergy and their families regardless of race, gender, age, or religious denomination.
How we calculate “net proceeds”
Net proceeds are the total product sales, minus only these direct costs:
- The cost of the products sold
- Shipping and postage
- Credit card and payment processing fees
We do not subtract general clinic overhead, store labor, or marketing salaries. Everything left after the costs above goes into The Hope Fund.
How assistance is given
Clients apply through our practice and are reviewed using a written policy based on financial need and crisis circumstances. Approved clients may receive help with up to 100% of their counseling session fees, depending on their need and how much money is in the fund. Assistance is subject to available funds and is not guaranteed.
Not a tax-deductible donation
Because this store is run by a private group practice and you receive a product in exchange for your payment, purchases are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
Privacy
We never share the names or personal details of anyone who receives help from The Hope Fund. Hope Fund applications are handled separately from this online store by our clinic’s administrative staff and are not stored on this website.
